About

It started in my kitchen, for my daughter.

Long before there was a shop, there was a sick child and a mother who'd run out of answers from the people she was supposed to trust.

Coralee — founder, Alkaline Healing Herbs

My daughter was sick. We did everything the doctors told us to. The visits got longer, the prescriptions got stronger, and she didn't get better. At a certain point I stopped waiting on someone in a white coat to figure her out.

I started reading. I learned to do detoxes — proper ones, with binders and timing and food that actually feeds a cell. I did them with her. Slowly, then all at once, she came back.

Word moves fast in our neighborhood. A friend asked if I'd help her with hers. Then her sister. Then a cousin's coworker. I was running protocols out of my kitchen for half the block before I understood what I'd built.

What I kept seeing was the same thing every time: people in our community wanted to heal but didn't have access — to the herbs, to the knowledge, to anyone who'd sit with them and explain it. That's the gap I decided to fill.

We opened the shop on Elston in 2019 so the door would stay open. Today we've served over 50,000 people — neighbors, online customers, and mothers in the same spot I was in years ago. The same answers, organized the same way, available to anyone who walks in or picks up the phone.

How we work

Wild before farmed

We source from the wild whenever season and ethics allow. Wild plants carry the mineral density grocery-store hybrids don't.

Cycles, not just bottles

Every formula is built to live inside a thirty-day rhythm — morning, midday, evening — so the work compounds.

Access over gatekeeping

If you walk in with a question, you get an answer. No appointment fee, no upsell script, no pretending herbs are mysterious.
