The Alkaline System
How an alkaline body actually works — and why electric foods, mineralization, and hydration are the three legs of the stool every protocol in our shop is built on.
01 · The terrain idea
Disease grows in acidic, mucus-laden tissue. An alkaline terrain is inhospitable to most chronic inflammation. We're not trying to change a number on a strip — we're trying to change the environment your cells live in.
That's a thirty-day move, not a thirty-second one. Saliva pH strips and water-bottle hacks are not the work. The work is what you put in your mouth, what you put on your skin, and what you sleep through every night, repeated long enough that the soft tissue starts to feel different.
02 · Electric foods
Wild and naturally grown plants carry the ionic minerals your cells were built for. Hybrid produce — most of what's at a grocery store — has been bred for shelf life, water content, and sweetness, not mineral density.
The closer a plant grows to how it grew a thousand years ago, the more 'electric' it is in the Sebi sense. Wild greens, sea moss, dark berries, herbs you can identify by smell.
What to lean into:
- ●Dandelion, burdock, nettle, plantain (the weed)
- ●Wildcrafted sea moss (Honduras, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Maine), bladderwrack, dulse
- ●Wild berries: elder, mulberry, sour cherry
- ●Quinoa, amaranth, teff, fonio — ancient grains, not bread
- ●Spring water from a real source
03 · Mineralization
Sea moss, bladderwrack, and burdock are the foundation tripod. They make every other protocol work harder. If you skip mineralization, your detoxes will leave you tired and your cleanses will plateau. Mineralize first, then move things.
This is the part of the system most cleanse kits skip — they're trying to sell you a phase-two product without telling you to load minerals first. That's why people lose hair and crash energy on cheap detoxes.
04 · Hydration
Spring water and herbal teas — never tap. The body needs structured water to carry minerals into the cell and waste out of it. A gallon a day of dead water doesn't move what a half-gallon of spring water with a pinch of sea salt will.
If you can't get spring water locally, charcoal-filter your tap and add a pinch of unrefined sea salt to a half-gallon a day. That's the floor.
05 · How a protocol applies the system
Every cycle we run is the same shape: release first, mineralize second, maintain third. Ignoring any leg of the tripod is what makes most cleanses fail.
A simple read:
- ●Week one: open drainage routes (bitters, gentle movers)
- ●Week two and three: mineralize and bind (foundation herbs, charcoal/clay binders)
- ●Week four: maintain — capsules, daily tea, normal life
Do that for one cycle, take a week off, then run it again. Three cycles in is when soft-tissue inflammation tends to break.
06 · Where to start, honestly
If you're new to all of this, don't run a heavy parasite cleanse on day one. Start by mineralizing for two weeks (sea-vegetable gel daily, bitters before meals, a tea you actually drink), and only after that move into a release phase.
If you walk into the shop, that's the first thing we'll tell you. The protocols are the same. We just sequence them right for where your body is now.
