Herb glossary
Every herb we work with regularly. What it does, who shouldn't take it, and what we typically pair it with.
Sea moss
Foundation mineral. 92 trace minerals. Daily use. Wildcrafted from Honduras, Jamaica, St. Lucia, and Maine. Pairs with: bladderwrack, burdock. Avoid if hyperthyroid without practitioner guidance.
Bladderwrack
Iodine and thyroid support. Use with sea moss for the full mineral picture. Avoid if hyperthyroid without practitioner guidance.
Burdock root
Blood purifier and lymphatic mover. The third leg of the foundation tripod. Mild — safe for most people daily. Pairs with: dandelion, sea moss.
Dandelion root
Liver bitter and gentle diuretic. Phase-one staple. Pairs with: milk thistle, burdock. Avoid with strong diuretics.
Milk thistle
Liver support — the workhorse. Daily use is fine, especially if you're around environmental load. Pairs with: dandelion, bitters.
Black walnut hull
Antiparasitic. Use only inside a structured cycle. Not for pregnant women. Pairs with: wormwood, clove (the triad).
Wormwood
Antiparasitic, especially against larger parasites. Short-course only — never daily. Not during pregnancy or nursing.
Clove
Kills parasite eggs. The third herb in the classic parasite triad. Short-course only.
Elderberry
Antiviral support. Daily during cold and flu season; pause when symptoms resolve. Don't combine with prescription antivirals without guidance.
Chamomile
Nervous system softener. Bedtime tea. Safe long-term. Avoid if you have a ragweed allergy.
Skullcap
Stronger sleep and anxiety support. Use as needed, not as a daily.
Ashwagandha
Adaptogen. Steady-state stress support. Avoid if hyperthyroid or pregnant.
Ginger root
Digestive warmer, anti-nausea. Daily use is fine. Pairs with: fennel, tulsi.
Yoni steam blends
Topical support for menstrual and postpartum care. Twice weekly during cycle support phases. Not during active bleeding or pregnancy.
Activated charcoal
Binder. Take two hours after any antiparasitic or strong herb. Don't take with medications — wait at least an hour before, two hours after meds.
Bentonite clay
Heavy-metal binder. Mix with water in a glass jar — never aluminum. Drink quickly; it sets up.
